So, what are these journey groups we speak of? They're small Bible study groups that allow you to get to know people at Winthrop and also get to know God on a deeper level. Interested? Here are some ideas...
Erica Long is leading a co-ed Bible study called "Praise God When..." on Tuesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm at the BCM Center. It's only a 6 week study, starting January 29th!
Paul Nigro is leading a co-ed Bible study with no particular subject chosen just yet...to be determined. But he is an awesome teacher who knows how to break down the scriptures and really knows the history behind everything! His will be on Tuesday nights as well from 6-7pm BUT HIS WON'T start until MID-FEBRUARY!
Heather Collins is leading a ladies' Bible Study entitled "Lady in Waiting" which is a book about becoming Mrs. Right instead of looking for Mr. Right. The meetings will be held on Tuesday nights from 8:30-9:30pm at her apartment. I'm not really sure how to get to her apartment...but I'm sure you can email her to find out.

Then there's beautiful Karin Davisson. Leading a ladies study on the book "When Wallflowers Dance: Becoming a Woman of Righteous Confidence." It's about ending the UN-becoming womanhood and going to back to the basics...sprirtual growth, which is her focus and reference to "dancing" in the arms of the Lord! It will be held at the BCM center from 7-8pm on Wednesday nights! We already had the first session and will be talking about the 1st chapter on January 30th!
Have any questions in general? Email Karin at davissonk2@winthrop.edu!
