Pray...Give...GO!

Are you interested in doing more than just school work this year?  BCM offers great opportunities for you to be involved in missions in a number of ways.  How, you may ask?  Well, let's see....

You can pray - We had a number of students do missions during Summer '07, and even more will venture out next summer...or maybe even this school year.  If you don't feel lead to go on a trip, we encourage you to pray for those who are going.  It'll help you feel a part of it all...and may even bring you to a place where you can serve at another time!!

You can give - Each year, BCM sets a missions goal, meaning it commits to raising a certain amount of money to help send its students on mission trip.  But, it cannot be done without your help!!  Our goal for this year is full of hiiiiigh fives: $5,555!!  You're encouraged to help give as much as you can so that your peers (or even YOU) can serve God in missions this coming summer.  If you're interested in knowing how to give, see Lydia Hutto, and she will get you all hooked up!!  She may even give you a hiiiigh five for helping out!!

You can go - BCM offers several different opportunities for its students to serve.  There is a fall break mission trip (October 12-16 to Blairsville, GA), a spring break mission trip (umm...it's in the Spring!), and summer missions available.  Details about these trips will be posted as they are determined, but it'd be great if you would start praying now about whether or not God wants you to go.  We also have small serve opportunities throughout the semester that you're welcome to jump into.  If you have any questions or ideas, Marilyn Thomas (thomasm6@winthrop.edu) would love to hear from you!!
