What to Expect

Weekly

During both the Fall and Spring semesters, BCM holds a weekly gathering for college students from the Rock Hill area. Most attend Winthrop, but others attend another local college/university or take classes online. We gather on Thursday nights at the BCM building at 7pm for a free dinner sponsored by one of our supporting churches. Our worship time begins at 8pm. You can attend worship even if you don’t come for dinner! During our worship gathering we have music, scripture, prayer, and a time to hear teaching from the Bible. While most who come to BCM are followers of Jesus, some aren’t. It is a place to hear what Jesus taught and consider what it means to truly follow Him.

At various times throughout the week, we have small group Bible studies that meet in order to build deeper friendships and spend time learning and discussing what God had taught us through the Bible. Whether you have never read the Bible, have been studying it for years, or are somewhere in between, these groups are for you. If you are interested in being part of one of these groups, you can sign up here. These groups, like our weekly gathering, are active during the semester only.

Summer

During the summer, BCM sponsors a Bible study at the BCM building. To find out more details, click our Instagram and Podcast tab.

Events

Throughout the year, we will have other big events like our Welcome Back Luau, Fall Retreat, Converge Conference, Spring Break Mission Trip, and others.
